Under this project OCCD supports establishment of 430 new CBE (350 CBS and 80 ALC) classes as well as continuation of 251 existing CBS classes in the in 12 districts and the city of Kandahar. Totally 22,703 (11,079 Grills/11624 Boys) school age children affected by shocks will access to quality basic education. The project provides quality basic education for 681 children with disabilities, 454 returnees, 1135 IDPs and 2270 host population. Furthermore, 681 teachers recruit and will be trained on standard teacher training manual including PSS and 2430 community members will sensitise on the importance of education in emergency. The project funded by UNICEF and implements by OCCD.
