OCCD started the implementation of this project under the name of Community Development Program in partnership with Good Neighbors International- Afghanistan (GNI) in Kapisa province. The project is for five years (Jan 2021-2025). The project goal is to improve Women Empowerment, Mother/Child Nutrition Awareness/ Food Processing,  WASH Program, School Rehabilitation, School Water System,  Hygiene /Sanitation, Canal Cleaning/Rehabilitation of flood-affected communities, Agriculture Emergency Risk Reduction, Rehabilitation of Health Facilities, Capacity Building of CDCs and sub-committees and strengthen the relationship between government and community through CDCs and make sure that all men, women, and children are included in development initiative and activities. Communities will participate in planning, building/rehabilitation, and monitoring the progress of the project.
